Feature Requests

First, id like to thank you @Francis Feng for making this app. It has been a life saver and a truly awesome productivity tool. However, as my bookmarks have grown in size, i've found it very difficult to be able to edit them en-mass easily in Anybox, which is fine. Anybox works great for what it is, but for those like me who'd like to edit their bookmarks by the hundreds, the best method is to export the files as CSV and import them into Excel for granular editing. Unfortunately, Anybox doesn't have an option to export (or properly import) Bookmarks to CSV, a feature that Raindrop.io supports (see attachment). I don't think it requires much to implement, but I am begging for this feature to come to the next version. Thank you in advance! And much gratitude for all your hard work!

I found some API on http://127.0.0.1:6391 but no way to update bookmark metadata. If I make re-import with edited metadata after import all metadata will re-fetched. I can map specific range of requests to tools like Proxyman and map requests to replace open graph tags but it overcomplicated. I need programmatically update: Title Description Comment Folder Tags Starred Icon Image For example Method update ' http://127.0.0.1:6391/update ' with body: {"id":"bookmarkId","comment":"some comment","tags":["watch-later"],"folder":"","starred":false, "url": "new url", "iconUrl": "url to new icon", "imageUrl": "url to new image" }

My workflow sometimes involves quickly saving lots of links to clear out my browser tab space, with the intention of coming back later to review and process the links I've saved. This means links can start to pile up quickly. Having the ability to group links by any website automatically (e.g. "Group by" all links under " medium.com ", etc.) would enable quick organization and cleanup. I know Anybox already has the ability to create a Smart list based on a URL pattern, but having a "Group by" option in the "Links" view would make seeing patterns easier and more productive without having to manually create Smart lists for each domain.

In my mind one of the most obvious missing features is a "Sites" section that automatically groups links by site domains. I often want to see all links I've saved for a specific website. Now I have to create a smart list for each site and this is tedious. On a basic level, I'd like to see Anybox simply add a "Sites" section that automatically groups links by domain, ie: Amazon.com , Apple.com , etc. Beyond that it would be nice to be able to select a domain and "Hide Domain" from the "Sites" section and have the option to "Show Hidden Domains", select a hidden domain and "Show Domain".

Need to be able to manually order bookmarks within a collection.

I'd like AppleScript to add bookmarks to Anybox. input variables would be URL and name. This would allow Hookmark to add bookmarks to Anybox. (Many Hookmark users also use Anybox). This would be good for Anybox's business too because users would have more content in Anybox. Hookmark currently can automatically add bookmarks to DEVONthink, Pinboard, GoodLinks and Instapaper.

For better privacy, please implement end to end encryption through the use of Apple’s Advance Data Encryption through the use of special fields in cloud kit sync. This will allow users to use the notes feature more broadly and protect privacy.

Hi Anybox team, I’m a heavy user of the Anybox Chrome extension. One feature I rely on constantly is selecting text on a page and appending it to the description of an existing saved link/bookmark. Right now, this workflow requires using the extension UI every time, and there’s no keyboard shortcut for it. Could you please add support for a customizable shortcut in the Chrome extension (and ideally across all Anybox browser extensions) that triggers “append selected text to the description of the current/selected bookmark”? Being able to set my own hotkey would make this feature dramatically faster and would remove a lot of friction from my daily reading and saving workflow.
