Feature Requests

I love Anybox. But I don’t use it like I want to. The main missing feature is AI - specifically auto tagging and categorizing saved links. Raindrop has this now, and mymind, although quite different than Anybox, does it as well. I feel like this shouldn’t be too difficult to implement with all the AI tools nowadays. Is this on the roadmap?

The size of the main tabs for “All”, “Starred”, “Untagged”, “Unsorted”, “Today” and “Trash” on the iPad version are WAY too big. Our iPad screens are much bigger than iOS and can have a similar UI to the Mac app, meaning those main tabs can be smaller like on the Mac. Please give us the ability to resize those buttons to not be so big and take up valuable screen space.

When importing links from a browser, the links that have been collected might no longer exist, but are still imported. It would be useful if those links could be automatically discarded.

Although we have the option to choose the browser when opening a link, it would be great if links could be opened by default in a given browser. I have a few, links that work only with Google Chrome (and maybe other browsers) but not my default: Safari. I realize this is a bit of a niche request, but if possible it would make my life easier.

The option to sort tags seems to be limited to the top level, sub-tags at any level remain unsorted. It would be great to have a "universal sort" for tags, similar to what was requested for folders.

Similar to the WayBack Machine, allow creating several snapshots of the same page at different times. Could be useful when saving incident status updates.

In addition to "Folders have RSS and share feature" I would love to see the ability to subscribe to RSS feeds and get all included links in the articles added to Anybox.

The last feature I really miss moving out of apple notes, google keep, raindrop is the ability to search for text in images and pdf. My use case involves using Anybox both as an inbox and archive.
